THE ULTIMATE SELF-CARE LIST

Hey, how's it going? (Can you meet me down on Adelaide Street🎵 -when you feel the urge to type Shawn Mendes lyrics lol) I hope your life is going well. While we are a couple days away from 2018 (yayyy), I wanted to share with you my self-care list which I use when I am stressed or just bored cause why not. I think self care is very important because we usually forget that happiness comes with learning to love ourselves and making ourselves a priority. So without further ado, let's get started!


  1. Go for a walk.
  2. Treat yourself to some luxury dark (or not) chocolate.
  3. Write in your journal.
  4. Invite your closes friends for a natter/sleepover.
  5. Stretch.
  6. Do something new.
  7. Have a good cry.
  8. Write a list of priorities/your goals.
  9. Drink an epic green smoothie.
  10. Dance like nobody's watching.
  11. Remove toxic relationships from your life.
  12. Print out some photographs.
  13. Drink lots of green tea (find one with a flavor you like).
  14. Listen to peaceful music.
  15. Wear clothes that make you feel good.
  16. Stand straight.
  17. Declutter your home/desk/workspace etc.
  18. Binge watch your favorite TV show.
  19. Make an epic fort.
  20. Take an art or craft class.
  21. Accomplish something you're really proud of.
  22. Go on a date.
  23. Give yourself a compliment.
  24. Buy a scented candle and light it.
  25. Choose tomorrow's outfit before bed.
  26. Cook a new recipe/learn how to cook.
  27. Indulge in reading a book for a few hours.
  28. Eat a big breakfast.
  29. Go to bed early.
  30. Replace negative thoughts with a compliment.
  31. Start the day with positive affirmations.
  32. Listen to a storm/rain and write (writing is optional here).
  33. Take a road trip.
  34. Cuddle.
  35. Buy flowers and send them to yourself to yourself (sending them to yourself is optional😂).
  36. Have a good laugh.
  37. Sleep for 8/9 hours at night.
  38. Go to an art gallery/museum.
  39. Go for a coffee with someone new.
  40. Treat yourself to your favorite perfume.
  41. Get up at sunrise.
  42. Create a mixtape (or CD), like the old days (and here I am talking like I am old enough to have experienced that).
  43. Throw out and donate old clothes/clothes you don't use.
  44. Volunteer for a cause that means something to you.
  45. Create a scrapbook (of your latest adventure).
  46. Celebrate a small achievement.
